Broadway has long been a guiding light for the Queer community, bringing folks from across the world to New York in pursuit of a life on stage. In the late 20th Century, while mainstream film and television were presenting caricatures and stereotypes of Queer life, Broadway was fleshing out characters with depth.

Patti LuPone recently sat down with Hillary Clinton for a live episode of the iHeartPodcast "You and Me Both". The episode was recorded on November 9, at Symphony Space in NYC. LuPone comments on the state of theatre in New York, why she will never return to Broadway, and her upcoming Marvel series, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries with Aubrey Plaza and Kathryn Hahn.

Christian anti-LGBTQ group One Million Moms is urging its followers to sign a petition against the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade due to two nonbinary Broadway performers being included. The annual parade, set for this Thursday, will include performances from many Broadway productions, but the group is taking issue specifically with &Juliet, which features Justin David Sullivan, as well as Shucked, which features Alex Newell, both of whom identify as nonbinary.
