I'm going to spoil the shit out of this movie. Reader beware. Johnny is a faith-based movie about a 10 year old with leukemia who, with God's help, heals a family broken by tragedy. It sucks. Johnny is an orphan who is "adopted" by a doctor who lost his son in a car accident. Johnny is on death's doorstep for the entire film, he could drop at any minute, but he never loses his holy spirit trying to bring joy and inspiration. About 60% of Johnny's dialogue is bible quotes, it's brutal.

I was 16 when Se7en came out in theaters. I really wanted to see it, and at the time getting into R rated movies wasn't a problem. I looked old enough, so I'd been passing since I was probably 13 (honestly, the ticket takers probably didn't give a shit), but I was still the nervous type every time I went into one of these forbidden screenings. Anyway... it took me at least 8 weeks to get up the gumption to try this one out.
