Harrison Houde's Tight Lettuce will have its World Premiere during the opening weekend of Fantasia, on Saturday, July 18th. Based on a true story, told to Houde by a friend and their father, the Quebecois dark comedy is Houde's feature film debut. They co-wrote the story with their lead Dakota Daulby and Rayden Wickop, co-writer on Houde's short film, Vinnie's Girl. On the basis of the premise alone, this sounds like a show that fits with my tastes, especially its reliance on action. The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System S1 The first episode is now streaming on Crunchyroll. Subsequent episodes will debut every Thursday. Yet little in the first episode distinguished the show from other fantasy adventure shows that feature a game player who is reincarnated in a world that is much like the fantasy game he knew in his past life.

With the complete lineup of the 30th Edition of Fantasia announced today we are introduced to some of the titles that are playing this year. Here we have an introduction to Harrison Atkins' second movie. Sour Minnows, something we are told is an interdimensional absurdist comedy. Two friends stumble upon an unusual sight: six men sensually licking the pavement on an empty LA street. For Ricky, this moment ruptures something.

Nightborn, a film by Hanna Bergholm (Hatching), starring Seidi Haarla and Rupert Grint, starts streaming on Shudder on July 31st. The Fantasia Film Festival is hosting the North American Premiere on Wednesday, July 22nd at 9:30pm in the Hall Theater. Hanna Bergholm will be in attendance. The trailer has arrived.
