My favorites: Israel and Brazil. I'm a skier. I like country music and I grew up on a cattle ranch in Washington State.

Have you ever used a typewriter?
When I was young, that's all I had to write school papers. Here at KUSA, I had one sitting by my desk for several years. It's gone now.
Who do you wish followed you?
Richard Engel. He has amazing courage & a willingness to take us into the conflict. Reading about it is one thing, seeing it is another.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
The story which won us the duPont award. We tracked a crook who preyed on victims of the housing crisis. Feds arrested him in Malaysia.
