FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY SATURDAY THROUGH NEXT TUESDAY: Michiana’s First heat wave of 2025 ramps up Saturday and lingers into early next week as a dome of high pressure sits right over the Midwest and Great Lakes. Afternoon high temperatures will approach record highs with heat index values of 100 to 105F. In addition, very high levels of humidity for this time of year will make this first heat wave of 2025 feel extra miserable, since we have not had tropical dewpoints in the 70s yet this year.
