Jacob Wolf is a staff writer at ESPN.com, where he reports breaking news and writes features and columns on the business and personnel of esports.

During his time at ESPN, Wolf has uncovered some of the largest scandals, transactions and moves in the esports space. In the last year, he has covered topics such as basketball and football team owners and wealthy entrepreneurs' push into the esports industry, the League Championship Series and the Overwatch League.

Wolf is the youngest employee ever hired by ESPN, starting the job right after his 19th birthday in 2016. Prior to joining ESPN, Wolf was a staff writer at the Daily Dot, who housed the most-viewed and most successful esports coverage section in the world. For his work in the space, Wolf has been nominated twice for the Esports Industry Awards Journalist of the Year award.

Originally from Atlanta, Wolf currently resides in Bristol, Connecticut. A long-time video gamer and a descendant of journalism majors, Wolf discovered his passion for journalism in 2014 while studying computer information systems and working as a freelance programmer.
