REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Since the 1920s, the Rehoboth Beach Public Library has dispensed books and knowledge from downtown. But 100 years later, the library will be starting a new chapter outside city limits. The idea did not generate immediate or unanimous support. "It's beautiful, look at it. it was such a treasure when they built it and suddenly it's not a treasure anymore," said library patron Doris Lehman.

News Friday, September 3rd 2021, 12:09 PM EDT HOUSTON, Del. - The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating a Friday morning fire that injured two people near Houston. The fire was reported shortly after 12:30 am at a home in the 3000 block of Jackson Ditch Road. The Houston Volunteer Fire Company responded and found the home engulfed in flames. A 14-year-old boy and a 33-year-old woman were injured. The teen was admitted to the Crozer Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania with burns.
