RAYVILLE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On Monday, July 6, 2026, around 8:28 p.m., the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a possible drowning in a pond located off U.S. Highway 425 in Rayville. Rayville Fire Department and the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office initially responded to the scene. According to RPSO, Bryan Fife, the victim, had been fishing with his grandson when he was trying to load supplies in the boat.
