Getting writing done in retirement seems more difficult

When I was employed as a teacher, then as an administrator for a large school district in the states, I’d work all day, then go to the gym for a swim, then go home. I’d write some, watch a little bit of TV, then go to bed and repeat the next day. On weekends it was shopping, go for a bike ride, go to a movie etc. But in retirement, especially here in Hawaii, it seems I’m busier and get less writing done.
