HIVE reports 158% jump in annual revenue to $298 million as bitcoin holdings fall to 150 BTC

Bitcoin miner-turned-AI diversifier, HIVE Digital Technologies, posted total revenue of $297.8 million for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, up 158% compared to a year earlier. HIVE's digital currency revenue is up 164% year over year to $278.3 million, driven by an approximately four-fold increase in installed operational hashrate and higher average bitcoin prices (BTC), the firm said in a statement on Tuesday.

VanEck debuts first US spot BNB ETF in latest crypto investment product expansion

Asset manager VanEck launched the VanEck BNB ETF (VBNB) on Thursday, the first exchange-traded product in the U.S. designed to provide spot exposure to the price movements of BNB. VanEck was the first to file for a BNB ETF in May 2025 and submitted its latest amendment earlier this month alongside an updated registration statement from fellow asset manager Grayscale, which is also seeking approval for its own spot BNB ETF.

Theta and XYO partner on blockchain-based verification layer for AI agents

DePIN projects Theta (THETA) and XYO (XYO) have partnered to develop a cryptographic proof infrastructure that will independently verify AI agent workloads. In a statement shared exclusively with The Block, Theta said its AI agent platform has helped sports and entertainment organizations — including Olympique de Marseille, the Houston Rockets, and partners across the MLS, NBA, NHL, and Ligue 1 — build customized customer service AI agents.
