James Greg Smith 69, of Dumas, Arkansas passed away June 4, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Greg was born, May 19, 1957, in Dumas, Arkansas to the late James William (J.W.) and Betty J. Brooks Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Debbie and Sue. Greg was a member of Rankin Chapel Baptist Church in Dumas. He was member of Gould Hunting Club where he loved the outdoors and hunting. Greg farmed for many years, that was his way of life that he enjoyed.

How can we capture those crisp action shots of wildlife, fast-action sports such as football or rodeo, or our grandchildren as whirligigs? The short answer is to use a fast shutter speed. This allows you to freeze the action despite movement by the subject or your camera. That is not the full answer, however. This image is composed of five photos. I took the photos while hiking near Aspen, Colorado.
