The market is at an earlier stage and growth is likely to be very high but starting from a very low point. This means the anticipated growth will be “lumpy” (i.e. with ups and downs and some regions/equipment types growing strongly, while others remain stuck at a very low level).

Excavators present a great opportunity for off-road vehicle component vendors since there are already some electrified mini excavator models on the market. The technology used in these machines can then be adapted and transferred to larger types of excavators as well as possibly bulldozers, backhoes and other loaders.
