DALLAS — Every afternoon during FIFA Fan Fest, Zac Thompson's parking lot is full. His vacant property, just a few blocks south of Fair Park, has become an unlikely barometer of the World Cup's economic impact. "My partner and I bought this property seven years ago as an investment property. What we found is that we could do parking as a placeholder,” Thompson said. "We'll fill up here by 1 or 2 o'clock."
