ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Dense, patchy fog will continue through the morning commute across the south metro, with spots of visibility down to a half mile or less before lifting by mid-morning. After the fog clears, skies are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy with above-average temperatures climbing into the upper 60s to low 70s, continuing an unusually warm pattern for early January.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Widespread dense fog will persist through the morning in the eastern half of North Georgia, with visibilities down to a quarter mile or less and a Dense Fog Advisory in effect through about 10 a.m. before fog dissipates and skies clear later today. For most of the area, including metro Atlanta, the fog will be patchy at best and commute impacts are not expected.
