Over 22 playoff games, the Golden Knights scored a total of 76 goals in four rounds. It was Vegas' most offensively productive postseason since their success in 2023. It was a bounce back for the Golden Knights, who struggled to score in the 2024-25 postseason. After being eliminated in five games by the Edmonton Oilers in 2025, VGK's management's stated objective was to find more goals.

Well, it looks like the Golden Knights are planning another active summer. Since their Stanley Cup Final exit on June 14th, Vegas has been linked to every big name rumored to be on the move, as they have been since the 2018 offseason. Let's be honest, it wouldn't be a true summer without the Golden Knights management making some sort of headlining move. Already, the talking heads are expecting Vegas to be aggressive and make attempts for some of the big names in circling the rumor mill.

Next season four Pacific Division teams will play for a new head coach. Edmonton, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Vegas have all announced or are close to announcing their new bench bosses for 2026-27. Yesterday, the Golden Knights predictably introduced Ryan Craig as their new head coach. The Canucks and Kings have hired their new leaders, and the Oilers will be announcing controversial coach Mike Babcock next week. It's rare that half of the division changed coaches in the same offseason.
