An Americana artist who combines her love of music with a deeper mission to be a voice for women who don’t feel they have their voice is coming to The Nest in Branson for a special concert. Caryn Dixon will be performing a show at The Nest with opening act Sundi Jo Graham on Saturday, June 13. The show follows the Friday release of her new EP, “Accidental Cowgirl,” and her show will feature the music from the new project.

Branson refunding license fees to some home-based business owners

The city of Branson wants to give money back to some local entrepreneurs who are doing business in residential parts of the city without impact on their neighbors. The city announced a reimbursement opportunity for certain home-based business licenses due to the passage of Ordinance 2026-0041 by the Board of Aldermen.

State Senator Brad Hudson has been making very positive impressions among his colleagues in the state senate and it resulted in a number of his bills for the 2026 legislative session making it to the governor’s desk. While Hudson had his own individual goals during the session, he told the Branson Tri-Lakes News his biggest accomplishment came in a partnership with Rep. Brian Seitz. “The Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act is huge,” Hudson said.
