Grumpy's owner to run for Ketchum mayor

Grumpy’s owner Pete Prekeges has announced that he will run for mayor of Ketchum in November’s election. The candidate filing period began Monday, Aug. 18, and ends Friday, Aug. 29. Candidates must gather five signatures from eligible voters or pay a $40 filing fee in order to run for office. Prospective candidates can learn more by visiting the Blaine County Elections Office website at co.blaine.id.us/196/Elections.
