Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay announced a proposal to establish a Motor Sports City in the State on Thursday. The CM’s suo motu statement during an Assembly session stated that the Motor Sports City would have an international-standard motorsports racing circuit, with modern infrastructure and training facilities. The complex will include facilities to host international-standard competitions such as Formula 1 and its lower tiers.
