LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — A large crowd gathered Thursday evening to welcome the newest members of the Allen County Agricultural Hall of Fame. The annual event recognizes individuals and families who have made significant contributions to the success and excellence of agriculture in Allen County. Among this year's inductees were the team behind Thompson Seed Farm on Defiance Trail Road.

LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Thermometers are buried in the red this week and that has some local companies working to beat the heat. The City of Lima's trash hauler Rumpke is getting to work well before the sun comes up to avoid the worst heat of the day. The utilities department getting the word out to make sure everyone has their trash out to the curb. Director Mike Caprella says it was a logical choice to make sure everyone stays safe and service isn't interrupted.

LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The West Ohio Community Action Partnership is launching a new program aimed at strengthening families by helping fathers build stronger relationships with their children. The agency hosted a barbecue and picnic Friday at Martin Luther King Jr. Park to introduce its new Fatherhood Initiative Program. The event also featured local organizations sharing information about services and resources available to families.
