It's about being able to listen, learn, and lead in one's family, workplace, and community.

I like it - but I will never understand what excites and what doesn't excite the X (formerly Twitter) audience.

Why did you become a journalist?
I recognized the itch as a junior high student watching the Space Shuttle Challenger tragedy - running to tell teachers what had happened.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No. But, I was the coordinator of the paper when I returned to teach Journalism.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of developing, and then nurturing a trust with the family of a hazing victim.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be observant. Be humble. Own the moment.

Spending time with family, at sporting events, exercising.

I enjoying reading Google's news section - specifically the access it gives to local content.
