I wish we’d seen more progress with Volcano Princess. When this Princess Maker style game launched in Early Access back in 2023, the idea seemed sound. An approachable daughter-raising sim! But at the time, parts of it felt a bit clunky, occasionally linear, and poorly localized. Now the full game is here and, well, you could say some of those points are still valid. There’s a lot to do, but other games in the genre handle things a bit better.

D23 Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer shows 2027 release date, Coco world

During the Disney D23 2026 event, a new Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer appeared that showed a world based on the Pixar movie Coco and assigned the game a “late” 2027 release date. The video also marked the return of some of Sora's allies, like King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. In all, the video spent under a minute and a half showing off new elements to the game.

The Street Fighter 6 Year 4 Character Pass kicked off with newcomer Yasmine, a Filipino fighter who is all about going on the attack and pressuring her opponent. What makes her feel especially solid for this is her unique Bayani Mode mechanic. It’s an incredibly easy to implement state that can trigger with some of her most common moves and rewards a player by allowing them to deal more damage and worry less about consequences of taking that risk of trying to keep up combos and assaults.
