Email, always. At least for the initial pitch.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I'm tech-savvy, so I use whatever is needed to get the job done.

I loved MySpace. The creativity to design your own look, add music, and feel more of being part of the experience was the best.

When's the best time to pitch you?
I'm not picky about timing; the best part of being freelance is I can work when I want to and can be more available to people who need help.

The ones I landed because of my dog photos.

All the ones who took the liberty of calling me Jen and didn't care that I didn't respond to that name.

Playing with my golden retrievers.

That I'm "mainstream" in a negative way. I take pride in getting all sides of a story and doing my research well.
