School may soon be out for the summer, but the need to read, write and compute continues for all ages. Which is why the Literacy Society of the North Okanagan (LSNO) launched School’s Out for Literacy on June 10. The community fundraising campaign, running to July 31, has a goal of raising $5,000 to help keep literacy programs free for children, youth, adults, and seniors throughout the North Okanagan.
