On 19th June, Live from Margins landed at EartH in Hackney, bringing together Eurohead & Effie, Thaiboy Digital, Frost Children (DJ), MCR-T and Maxxing residents. The night marked the London stop of the wider Live from Margins live run, with Thaiboy Digital’s new album sound tested directly in a club setting. Paradise, Thaiboy Digital’s collaborative album with swedm®, sees his sound move away from earlier cloud-rap into Eurotrance, techno and 2000s Swedish EDM influences.

By July 15, Nina Protocol will shut down. For those who never came across it, Nina is a free and independent music platform launched in 2021 as an alternative to the increasingly standardised world of music streaming. While most platforms compete on scale, convenience and algorithmic efficiency, Nina focused on something else entirely: direct support for artists, niche music communities, and genuine and human discovery.

C2C Festival’s 25th anniversary edition was already looking very strong, with names like Arca, Robyn, Kelela, Oklou, Yung Lean & Bladee, and underscores on the bill. Now, the Turin festival has added 17 new artists to the line-up, including The Avalanches, Shygirl, Grouper, Smerz, ML Buch, Elias Rønnenfelt, Visible Cloaks, Marina Herlop, Kode9 & RP Boo and more.
