Jennifer Wolfe’s Biography

Jennifer Wolfe is a global thought leader in the new gTLDs, predicting the impact to digital marketers as a paradigm shift of the internet begins in 2014.

She is the founder and President of Wolfe Domain, a gTLD digital brand strategy advisory firm providing comprehensive guidance to global brands and interactive agencies establishing a holistic gTLD name-anchored brand strategy for the next generation of the Internet. Wolfe’s primary focus is in working with CMOs, CDOs and CLOs alike in crossing over important stakeholder groups to develop a strategy to respond to the most important paradigm shift since the Internet began.

Wolfe has partnered in technology start-ups, provides management consulting and intellectual property strategy to Fortune 500 companies, and offers leadership as a member of the board of directors of emerging growth companies. She was elected to the Generic Name Supporting Organization of ICANN where she works to develop policy for the Internet.

For the third year in a row she was named one of the top 300 global intellectual property strategists by IAM Magazine. She is a two-time past president of the Greater Cincinnati Venture Capital Association, a certified Six Sigma Black Belt in process improvement and nationally accredited in public relations. She was selected as a member of the 2012 class of the Direct Women Institute and completed the Stanford Law School Director’s College in 2013.

Wolfe’s most recent book, Domain Names Rewired, predicts trends the coming paradigm shift in the internet through interviews with leading brands such as Microsoft, Time Warner, Verizon, P&G, Yahoo! and more. She also co-authored Brand Rewired, on innovation, branding and intellectual property strategy in 2010, which was widely recognized as visionary thinking by global brand executives. Wolfe is a regular columnist in Click Z.

Prior to starting Wolfe Domain, Wolfe was the Co-Managing Partner of Wolfe Sadler Breen Morasch & Colby, an intellectual property and corporate counsel law firm. Wolfe started the firm at the age of 28 and grew it into the largest woman-owned intellectual property law firm in the United States.

With a depth of entrepreneurial savvy, brand knowledge, and legal expertise, Wolfe brings a unique perspective to creating holistic generic top-level domain (gTLD) name-centric brand strategies that effectively bring cross-functional teams together and serve as a catalyst for business innovation.
