“Mono No Aware” is Sienna Spiro’s favorite track from Visitors, her just-launched album. While sharing her Beauty Secrets with Vogue, the 20-year-old explains that the bittersweet ballad was inspired by a Japanese phrase that means, essentially, everything beautiful is temporary. “When I found that, it was something I really connected to, because the whole album is about this fear of impermanence I had,” Spiro says. It should be noted, though, that the fear doesn’t apply to temporary lashes.
