PICKERINGTON, Ohio (WSYX) — Pickerington Local Schools has been hosting a series of townhalls to discuss which operating levy will be placed on the ballot this November. After two previous sessions the last 10 days or so, Thursday allowed community members two final chances to voice their concerns and learn. District officials said the goal is to educate the public on why a levy is needed. “We have real needs in Pickerington,” Pickerington Superintendent Charles Smialek said.
