This is the end. The end of our illusions. The end of our comfort. The end of our narratives. All that is left is violence. That’s where this story ends. Certainly state violence. Although the state’s monopoly on violence is no longer. Especially when the state wants people to engage in violence on the state’s behalf. Not that the state could control or contain said violence. Violence begets violence. The state is a corporation. The corporation is a machine. The machine cannot think. The machine cannot stop.
