QUINCY (WGEM) - High pressure and its associated drier air airmass remains in control of our weather through early Saturday morning. While clouds will be on the increase and a sprinkle or light shower or two are possible overnight (10% - 20% chance of light rain areawide) as a weak front sags into the area most of the Tri-States will stay dry through Saturday. Expect light winds with an overnight low in the low to mid-60s as clouds stick around through Saturday morning.

QUINCY (WGEM) - It would be hard to ask for a better unofficial start to summer as plenty of sunshine with dry temperatures and a paucity of uncomfortable humidity levels brings a rather pleasant start to the last full week of May. The area will remain primarily under the influence of high pressure through midweek which sees daytime high temperatures running at or above normal through the end of the work week.

QUINCY (WGEM) - While many of us stayed dry overnight areas that saw showers and some rumbles of thunder will see those diminish this morning. Expect some sunshine mixed with clouds the rest of today with scattered showers and thunderstorms again possible this afternoon and this evening with those chances highest across the northern tier of the forecast area, but that risk looms for everyone.
