A Four Corners investigation has found the Victorian Government is subsidising logging in Tasmania's native forests - even though it has ended native logging in its own state. Environmentalists say the government money is fuelling forest destruction in Tasmania, with the timber being sent over to some mills in Victoria to keep them operating.
