A non-open surgical rabbit model of ureteral stricture induced by transurethral endoscopic thermal injury
Abstract Iatrogenic thermal injury during endoscopic procedures is a predominant cause of benign ureteral strictures. Existing models rely either on costly large animals, unsuitable for large-scale screening, or on open surgery in small mammals, which causes substantial trauma and high complication rates. We established a rabbit model of ureteral stricture via transurethral endoluminal thermal injury, without open surgery.

Electrical Seebeck contrast observation of magnon Hall effect in topological ferromagnet ${\mathrm{Lu}}_{2}{\mathrm{V}}_{2}{\mathrm{O}}_{7}/\mathrm{heavy}$ metal heterostructures
The observation of the magnon Hall effect (MHE) has relied solely on the challenging measurement of the thermal Hall conductivity. Here, we report a highly sensitive electrical Seebeck contrast method for the observation of MHE in Lu2V2O7/heavy metal heterostructures, which is highly desirable for the exploration of new MHE materials and their applications.
$\mathit{In situ}$ structural determination of $3d$ and $5d$ perovskite oxides under high pressure by synchrotron x-ray diffraction
In contrast to the Mott transition found in RNiO3 (R= rare earths), the metal-insulator transition temperature in the perovskite NaOsO3 is not sensitive to pressure. The peculiarity may be correlated to how the crystal structure of NaOsO3 responds to high pressure, which has been rarely studied so far. The pressure-induced bond-length shrinking can increase the orbital overlap integral and therefore the electron bandwidth.

Capacity configuration optimization for green hydrogen generation driven by solar-wind hybrid power based on comprehensive performance criteria
1 Introduction With the increasing energy demand and fossil fuel consumption, serve issues of energy shortage and environmental pollution are in urgent need to be addressed (Hussain et al., 2023). The development and utilization of renewable energy can effectively promote the transformation of clean and efficient energy structures and enhance the overall efficiency (Jaber et al., 2008; Kumar and Majid, 2020).
PD-1 maintains CD8 T cell tolerance towards cutaneous neoantigens - Nature
Abstract The peripheral T cell repertoire of healthy individuals contains self-reactive T cells1,2. Checkpoint receptors such as PD-1 are thought to enable the induction of peripheral tolerance by deletion or anergy of self-reactive CD8 T cells3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. However, this model is challenged by the high frequency of immune-related adverse events in patients with cancer who have been treated with checkpoint inhibitors11.

The Core-Targeted RRM2 Gene of Berberine Hydrochloride Promotes Breast Cancer Cell Migration and Invasion via the Epithelial–Mesenchymal Transition
Abstract : Berberine hydrochloride (BBR) could inhibit the proliferation, migration, and invasion of various cancer cells. As the only enzyme for the de novo synthesis of ribonucleotides, RRM2 is closely related to the development of tumorigenesis. However, not much is currently known about the functional roles of RRM2 in breast cancer (BRCA), and whether BBR regulates the migration and invasion of BRCA cells by regulating the expression of RRM2 remains to be determined.
Evidence for spin swapping in an antiferromagnet - Nature Physics
Abstract Antiferromagnetic insulators offer strategic advantages in spintronic applications because of their negligible stray fields and ultrafast magnetic dynamics. Control of their magnetization and readout of their magnetic state are essential for these applications but remain challenging. Here we report the electrical detection of room-temperature magnetization switching in the canted antiferromagnetic insulator LaFeO3, capped with a Pt or W overlayer.
