Objective tongue phenotyping and nutritional risk in diabetic kidney disease: a dual-centre study linking quantified tongue features to the controlling nutritional status score
Abstract Objective: To examine associations between objectively quantified tongue features and the Controlling Nutritional Status (CONUT) score in patients with diabetic kidney disease (DKD), and to assess the influence of renal function and glycaemic status on these associations. Methods: This dual-centre cross-sectional study included 392 patients with DKD. Fifty-one tongue features were extracted using the YZAI-02 AI tongue imaging system.
Objective tongue phenotyping identifies phenotypic heterogeneity in diabetic kidney disease: a dual-center clustering analysis
Abstract Objective: To identify tongue-phenotype subtypes in patients with diabetic kidney disease (DKD) using unsupervised clustering of quantified tongue features, and to compare tongue characteristics and laboratory profiles across subtypes. Methods: We enrolled 331 patients with DKD from two hospitals in Beijing. Forty-eight continuous tongue features and 3 ordinal/categorical tongue variables were extracted. Continuous variables were z-score standardized.
Molecular mechanism of cholesterol-dependent membrane fusion in SARS-CoV-2 entry - Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy
Abstract Enveloped virus invasion relies on spike glycoprotein-mediated membrane fusion. Cholesterol that serves crucial roles in modulating protein conformations and membrane properties, plays an essential role in the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) cell entry. However, the precise regulatory mechanism of cholesterol in SARS-CoV-2 fusion remains unknown.

Improving wavefront reconstruction accuracy in lateral shearing interferometry using a phase-driven shear correction method
To address the problem of inaccurate shear estimation caused by insufficient interferogram quality, this paper proposes a phase-driven shear correction method that effectively enhances the accuracy of wavefront reconstruction. The method treats the phase extracted from the actual interferogram as the optimization target and regards the shear amount as the variable.
High-precision computation method for key parameters in lateral shearing interferometry
To address the issue of inaccurate calculation of shear quantity and shear angle in lateral shear interferograms due to their discretely distributed edges and unclear gradient changes, this paper proposes a high-precision computation method for key parameters. First, it enhances the clarity of interferogram edges and suppresses internal fringe noise interference by computing the spatial modulation transfer function (MTF) of lateral shear interferograms.

A Two-Stage Optimization Model for Airport Stand Allocation and Ground Support Vehicle Scheduling
1. Introduction With the rapid development of the civil aviation industry, the increasing flight density at major hub airports has led to a shortage of available resources. In 2023, airports in the Pearl River Delta region handled a total of 936,300 flights. Among them, Shenzhen Bao’an Airport handled 393,100 flights, with an on-time departure rate of 88.67%—a year-on-year decrease of 6.72 percentage points.
Identification of Immune-Associated Biomarkers of Diabetes Nephropathy Tubulointerstitial Injury Based on Machine Learning: A Bioinformatics Multi-Chip Integrated Analysis
BACKGROUND: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a major microvascular complication of diabetes and has become the leading cause of end-stage renal disease worldwide. A considerable number of DN patients have experienced irreversible end-stage renal disease progression due to the inability to diagnose the disease early. Therefore, reliable biomarkers that are helpful for early diagnosis and treatment are identified.
A glimpse into viral warfare: decoding the intriguing role of highly pathogenic coronavirus proteins in apoptosis regulation - Journal of Biomedical Science
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illness in both animals and humans. They are divided into four genera: α, β, γ and δ. Among these, humans are primarily susceptible to coronaviruses from the α and β genera.

cGAS-STING‐mediated novel nonclassic antiviral activities
1 INTRODUCTION The innate immune response serves as the first line of host defence against invading pathogens. Cyclic GMP–AMP (cGAMP) synthase (cGAS)1 is a key DNA sensor that decerns aberrant double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) during virus infection, cooperating with the adaptor protein stimulator of interferon genes (STING) (also referred to as TMEM173, MITA, EIRS, and MPYS2-5), which is located at the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), to orchestrate a network of immune signalling.

A Large Neighborhood Search Algorithm with Simulated Annealing and Time Decomposition Strategy for the Aircraft Runway Scheduling Problem
Abstract : The runway system is more likely to be a bottleneck area for airport operations because it serves as a link between the air routes and airport ground traffic. As a key problem of air traffic flow management, the aircraft runway scheduling problem (ARSP) is of great significance to improve the utilization of runways and reduce aircraft delays.
Optimization Design and Performance Evaluation of U-Shaped Area Operation Procedures in Complex Apron
3.3. Partition-shared Operation Procedure Under the partition-shared operation procedure, the apron U-shaped area can be divided into three zones: “outer”, “middle”, and “inner”, and two access in the U-shaped area are being used as one access. For a specific partition, intersection taxiing of arrival and departure aircraft is not allowed (e.g., the paths of aircraft A and B in Figure 3), thus ensuring that aircraft operations meet the airport’s lateral safety separation regulations.
