Bed Bath and Beyond will acquire Fathom Holdings in all-stock deal

Fathom Holdings, the parent company of fast-growing brokerage Fathom Realty, announced Wednesday that it will be acquired by home goods retailer Bed Bath & Beyond. A statement issued Wednesday morning, revealed that the deal is an all-stock transaction and will value Fathom Holdings at about $53.38 million. Each Fathom share will be worth 0.2236 shares of Bed Bath & Beyond. The statement goes on to explain that acquiring Fathom is part of Bed Bath & Beyond’s “Everything Home” strategy.
