(WIVT/WBGH) – With the help of the City of Binghamton, the Urban League and faith-based volunteers, a warming shelter for the homeless that was at risk of closing is now expanding instead. The UP Comfort Center inside of United Presbyterian Church on Chenango Street is closing next Thursday. However, it will reopen as the Overnight Center at UPC on July 1.
