An arrest has been made in the June 19 fatal vehicle crash near Bay Head Road and Cherokee Street, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. According to that agency, here's what we know: The defendant's name is William Wayne Vestal, 40. According to an arrest affidavit, he is a resident of Panama City. When was the arrest made? What are the charges? Driving while license suspended causing death and leaving the scene involving death.

Winn-Dixie makes strong comeback, converts all Harveys in Florida, Georgia

After celebrating its 100th anniversary last year, The Winn-Dixie Company hopes to come back strong with new stores, a new logo, more products, and a renewed focus on Florida. The Miami-born, Jacksonville-based grocery chain completed converting eight Harveys Supermarket locations into Winn-Dixie stores, the chain announced on June 22, bringing all its stores under one name. The last Harveys in Florida reopened as a Winn-Dixie four days earlier, in Jacksonville.
