Strong winds downing trees and causing power outages throughout the Rochester region

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — High Wind Warnings are in effect for most of the region and they're no joke. Storms intensified as they passed through Monroe County and Ontario County is getting hit hard with dozens of reports of trees and wires down. As of 11:00 a.m., about 2000 customers are without power, most of them in Monroe and Ontario Counties. RG&E is reporting about 800 outages in Monroe County along with another 300 in Ontario County. National Grid has about 300 in Livingston County.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Irondequoit Police are looking for your help locating an 80-year-old man who may be in need of medical attention. Raul Cruz was last seen driving on St. Paul Boulevard in Rochester around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He was driving a 2014 light blue Honda CRV, similar to the one pictured below, with license plate CUU-9438. Raul Cruz, believed missing and endangered due to medical condition. Cruz is described as five feet, seven inches tall around 130 pounds.
