(CBS) – Google announced on Saturday that it had begun rolling out changes to how its maps display Lake Ontario’s name, after President Trump signed an executive order changing it to “Lake America” amid a trade fight between the U.S. and Canada. The president signed an executive order last week to rename the lake, which sits between Canada’s most populous province, Ontario, and New York state.

DHADING, Nepal (AP) — In one of the areas worst hit by Wednesday’s catastrophic floods in Nepal, a group of schoolchildren managed to survive when they happened to leave their classroom for their lunch break. Children attending other classes at the school in Dhading also escaped because teachers told them to quickly evacuate their classrooms shortly before the waters came crashing in.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Crews with the Sodus Fire Department were called to a fire that broke out Saturday on Maple Avenue. Firefighters say all occupants were able to exit the structure. Fire crews from East Williamson, Wallington, Williamson, Alton, and Fairville assisted SFD at the scene. Wayne County coordinators, Wayne County EMS the sheriff’s office and state troopers responded to the scene, as well.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — First responders are on scene at Charlotte Pier searching for a missing person in Lake Ontario. News 8 heard reports of a vessel overturned in the lake a mile from Charlotte Pier. Our crews arrived and saw multiple police officers, firefighters, and an ambulance at the scene. Rochester firefighters confirmed with News 8 that two people were in a vessel that overturned on the lake. One person is unaccounted for, and they are continuing to search.
