Jishnu Nair’s Biography

Digital Journalist and Producer with experience in newspapers, magazines, digital news, broadcast news and radio journalism. Currently reporting from the north Houston metro area for Community Impact Newspaper, formerly digital producer at CBS21/WHP-TV. Studied at Syracuse University 2016-2020. Worked at CitrusTV News and the Daily Orange Interned and freelanced at Chapel Hill Magazine (Chapel Hill, NC). Freelanced with WAMC News (Albany, NY) for 2020 New Hampshire primary coverage. I'm interested in politics at the state level, funding in political campaigns and how political parties at all levels favor a candidate for office. I also enjoy writing about culture, and soccer.
