Josh Foreman is a sixth-generation Mississippian and an eleventh-generation Southerner. He currently lives and writes in Bay St. Louis, Miss. From 2005 to 2014, he lived in Seoul, South Korea, where he wrote travel and food stories for Groove Korea, an English language magazine. From 2014 to 2017 he studied nonfiction writing at the University of New Hampshire. In 2005, he was Mississippi State University's Student Leader of the Year and College Journalist of the Year at the Southeast Journalism Conference. An essay he wrote for the Southern Review on the history of pigs in the South was featured on Literary Hub in 2016 and nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
