This week will be my final immigration appointment (at least until I need to renew in two years), so I was thinking it was time to find some friends. When I first got here, Julia was at the Pastelaria in my parking lot, and we hit it off. BUT, it was bad timing. I had just moved in and had so many things to take care of. She texted every day for a couple of weeks and wanted to do something. First, even when I have friends, we don't do stuff every day.

I was reading some articles and one popped up talking about the new Ballot Issue threatening to take away the ability to get natural gas. If I still lived in Colorado, I would SO vote against this!   I so miss my gas stove!   It is cleaner energy, easier to cook with, and it starts and stops so much faster. I put in the natural gas line when I moved in 2018. When the electricity goes out, at least in the winter you still have gas for heat, if you have a gas fireplace.

I don't have much to say about this week, except preparing for my last immigration appointment this Thursday. WHEW, it's been a long haul, and so much has been done in the last year!   Will be so happy when I get the residency card and I will have two years before renewing it. My attorney is here in Vilamoura on Holiday this week, and meeting with his this afternoon so he can go through my paperwork to ensure it is complete and he has to stamp/certify my lease.
