V Evropské unii začalo platit nové pravidlo, které ruší dosavadní celní osvobození pro zásilky do 150 eur a zavádí poplatek 3 eura za každou kategorii zboží v balíku. Brusel se tak snaží zastavit miliardy podhodnocených zásilek a chránit evropské obchodníky před nekalou konkurencí. Éra laciného nakupování zejména z čínských e-shopů za pár korun končí.

The era of the duty-free parcels landing on Europe’s doorstep is over. From July 1, orders worth less than €150 will face a temporary customs charge of €3 as Brussels moves to stem the flood of cheap goods entering the bloc through platforms such as Shein, Temu and AliExpress. For years, parcels worth less than €150 could enter the EU without customs duties.

Stalking, harassment, body shaming. Online abuse is becoming a near-universal experience for teenage girls in Europe, with new threats such as AI-generated deepfakes causing harm beyond the screen. EU is now pushing schools, parents and tech platforms to do more to protect them. EU ministers called this Monday for stronger action to protect girls from digital violence, warning that online abuse can spill into real life and cause psychological, social and physical harm.
