The Impact of Surgical Conization of the Cervix and Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure on Female Sexual Function
2. Materials and Methods This was a prospective cohort study of patients who underwent either LEEP or surgical conization of the cervix at a tertiary referral center. Patients underwent the aforementioned procedures between January 2018 and May 2019. The inclusion criteria for the study were patients diagnosed with HPV-related cervical dysplasia (LGSIL or HGSIL) or cervical cancer who were scheduled for surgical treatment, either LEEP or surgical conization.
