I left the corporate world in 2010 (after a long and fulfilling tenure as Director of Communications for the San Diego Tourism Authority) to begin my new journey as a travel journalist.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

You are the voice of the truth. Never compromise, no matter what you perceive as reasons to do so.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I started learning Adobe PhotoShop in 1990, when it first appeared on the scene. It took years to perfect, but now it is my best friend.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Funny you should ask....I was Editor-in-Chief of "The Broadcaster" for several years at my high school in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
