Tweet, Tweet, Bad Beat: Bikinis and Drinks in the Extreme Vegas Heat
Things are heating up as week four of the 2017 World Series of Poker concludes, both inside and outside! Inside the Rio the record for most WSOP cashes just might fall this year, as three players are already tied with nine cashes after forty events. Outside, record-tying Las Vegas temperatures of 117 degrees have kept many players inside, but a few brave souls have ventured out to local pools and Red Rock Canyon.
Why You Shouldn't Continuation Bet So Much
The continuation bet or "c-bet" is perhaps the first postflop "move" new no-limit hold'em players become accustomed to employing. Having raised before the flop, a player will bet again on the flop and "continue" to keep the betting initiative. In many cases if a player raises preflop and has an opportunity to bet again after the flop, the player is almost expected to do so.

One of them is at the Wynn, where the annual Wynn Summer Classic returns this year with more than $5 million in guaranteed prize pools. The series kicks off Friday, June 2 and runs through Sunday, July 16, with a new event starting almost every day.
Take Full Advantage of Reverse Implied Odds
In the small stakes games I play, the vast majority of the players are loose-passive. Most of those who aren't are loose-aggressive. This general looseness actually makes a lot of sense. These games are filled with recreational players. Their primary motivation is having fun and playing tight isn't much fun at all. One of the problems with being loose is the hands in these players' ranges are weaker on average than the hands in the ranges of tighter players.
PokerStars Releases 2017 SCOOP Schedule
This year's Spring Championship of Online Poker boasts the largest PokerStars series guarantee ever, coming in at $55 million. This SCOOP guarantees $15 million more than SCOOP 2016. Team PokerStars Pros Jake Cody and Felipe Ramos discussed the schedule in this exclusive video. The tournament has accessible buy-ins at $5.50, $55 and $530.

He topped a field of 574 for a $180,806 first-place prize, the biggest yet for the talented young Oklahoman. "I've played a lot of these tournaments and never managed to finish better than fourth place," Berry told WSOP staff after the event.

November Niner Cliff Josephy made it, but is the shortest of the final six players returning for action.
