Angine de Poitrine are having a moment, and their latest stop was a big one. The Quebec duo made their Later with Jools Holland debut with a performance of “Sarniezz,” a track from their album Vol. II. The group has already become a favorite with No Treble readers thanks to their bizarre blend of microtonal guitar, crushing low end, looping, and off kilter grooves. “Sarniezz” shows exactly why Angine de Poitrine are blowing up. It is strange, intense, and completely their own thing.

Keanu Reeves Handles the Low End in Dogstar’s Full Pinkpop 2026 Set

Dogstar hit the Tent Stage at Pinkpop in Landgraaf, Netherlands this week and here is the full 51 minute set. The trio features Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals, Robert Mailhouse on drums, and Keanu Reeves on bass. On the low end, Keanu is playing a Fender PJ bass into a Gallien Krueger RB Legacy rig with the newly released head (Check out our article here). It is a great sound for a trio. Big, clear, and punchy with plenty of pick attack and grind.

The Marcus King Band rolled into Chicago on Friday June 19th, for a packed night at The Salt Shed and No Treble was there to catch it. Bassist Eric Vogel invited us out for the show which made the night even better, especially with a Bass Breakdown with him coming soon. King and the band delivered the kind of soulful, Southern soaked performance fans have come to expect. Eric’s feel, tone, and placement were locked in all night, providing a foundation that gave the band plenty of room to build.
