“What's Next?” (Hood, 2018a) INTRODUCTION Ireland, in common with many other European countries, has undergone a period of significant economic, social, and demographic transformation in the past 25 years. It is within this context that the authors of this article undertook their work in educational evaluation in general and culturally responsive evaluation (CRE) in particular.

The school inspectorate in England, Ofsted, has faced criticism recently following the death of headteacher Ruth Perry. According to her family, Perry’s death was a “direct result” of the pressure resulting from the which resulted in her school being judged as “inadequate”. This has sparked debate about whether the current Ofsted framework should be changed. Ofsted chief inspector, Amanda Spielman, rejected calls to halt inspections.

The important question in the upcoming Presidential election is not, “Who is the least disliked candidate?”, but “Which candidate offers the best plan to strengthen America?”When one analyzes the offensive exchanges between the candidates, we discover that most of them are untrue—that they don’t address the issues that are really important to Americans.
