An old front is gradually moving northward overnight. This will keep some people with some isolated showers and thunderstorms overnight. We will even give us some isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms for our Thursday. An isolated heavy thunderstorm or two cannot be ruled out of the question. After Thursday our chances for showers and thunderstorms do drop to much lesser chances as high pressure will build into our area. We will see more chances for more sunshine.

We saw a little bit of a lull from the showers and thunderstorms on our Tuesday. Most of the area stayed on the dry side and we saw temperatures that were well below the normal high of lower 90s. Most of the area did stay with mostly sunny skies throughout the day on our Tuesday. We also did see on the average, some lower humidity values in comparison to the last few days. We will see an old cold front move back north as a warm front on our Wednesday.

A cold front from our north and a stationary front in our area, along with some low pressure. All of these factors will give our area some good chances for some scattered showers and thunderstorms at times this Father’s Day Weekend. Some of the rainfall may be a little on the heavy side at times. Some of the thunderstorms may be a little on the strong to severe side at times. We will mainly see strong winds and some briefly large hail as the main severe weather events for some of the thunderstorms.
