Letter: Reaching across the aisle to expand foreign trade opportunities
As the senators of Minnesota and North Dakota, we know it’s not just the Red River that brings our states together, it’s also a belief that no matter where you live in America, you should be able to start a company and export to the world. Supporting rural exports is good for businesses and good for our states’ economies. In 2019, Minnesota and North Dakota together exported almost $29 billion worth of goods, including medical devices, tractors and airplane parts.

Administration should come to North Dakota
In October, North Dakota received a visit from three cabinet officials in the Trump administration in just six days — Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie, Interior Secretary David Bernhardt and EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler. This unprecedented attentiveness demonstrates President Trump’s commitment to middle America, as well as the benefits of our complimentary committee assignments in the Senate, which culminate in the ability of North Dakota to punch above its weight class.

Hoeven: Securing vital agriculture assistance for our producers
Our producers are the best in the world, and when given a level playing field can compete in any market. Hoeven: Health care reform will be a process, not one bill
Through this process, there are a few guiding principles that I have followed. First, we need to give individuals and families more choices, not force them to buy one-size-fits-all policies, paying for coverages that they neither want nor need. Next, we need to ensure coverage for those who truly can't afford insurance by preserving Medicaid.

The Renewal Summit
Years of gridlock have left Washington in a state of inaction, and questions remain about whether our nation can come together to find solutions for the most pressing issues of our time. But around the country local leaders are doing just that. Renewal is happening from the inside out, from city halls and local community organizations to innovators and businesses who are making a difference in their hometowns, not waiting for Washington.

At the same time, this authorization will attract government and military agencies to our state, such as the Air Force, the Department of Homeland Security and NASA, as they work to integrate UAS into the national air space.Beyond-visual-line-of-sight operability means being able to fly a remotely piloted aircraft without a ground observer or chase plane.
