Iowa Finalizes 2026 Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa volleyball finalized its 2026 schedule with the release of the nonconference slate, UI head coach Jim Barnes announced on Wednesday. “We are excited about a new look to our fall schedule,” Barnes said. “For the first time, we will follow up our Black & Gold Scrimmage with an exhibition match at DePaul. We then have 14 nonconference matches, highlighted by two home tournaments. Our schedule has very competitive road tournaments, including the B1G/SEC Challenge.

Hawkeyes Set for NCAA Championships in Eugene

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa track and field qualified nine entries, including three relays, to the final site of the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, June 10-13. The ESPN Family of Networks will carry televised coverage of the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships all four days. Coverage begins each night at 7 p.m. (CT) on either ESPN or ESPN2. All events can be streamed on ESPN+ (subscription required).

Knepp Heads to Eugene on Steeplechase School Record

Including Knepp, Iowa qualified three individuals and two relays on Friday to the national meet in June. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Iowa sophomore Luke Knepp reset the program record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships in Eugene on Friday night at John McDonnell Field. Knepp broke the school record for the second time this season, placing fifth overall and earning an automatic qualification in 8:30.52.
