To the Editor, Marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) is an indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that accounts for ~7% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas [1]. MZL is a heterogeneous disease and includes three subtypes, nodal MZL, splenic MZL, and extranodal MZL of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (EMZL). The management of EMZL has evolved over time, with the introduction of rituximab, bendamustine, Bruton Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (BTKi), and lenalidomide [2,3,4,5].
